2012  THE DIAMOND JUBILEE
FLEETWOOD THEATRE FESTIVAL

FRIDAY 19TH AND SATURDAY 20TH OCTOBER
2 EVENINGS OF GREAT THEATRE.

This will be our closing non-competitive Festival.
Colin Dolley, well known to our patrons, will 'comment' on the plays.

Friday 19th October 2012
Starting at 7:45pm

Award-winning Edinburgh Theatre Arts presents Macbeth in Scots (90 minute version), translated from Shakespeare by Robin Lorimer (as seen at The Courtyard Theatre, RSC, Stratford & The Edinburgh Fringe Festival); also nominated for The Edinburgh Evening News Festival Fringe Drama Awards.

Saturday 20th October 2012
Starting at 7:30pm

Award-winning Romiley Little Theatre presents 'The Calendar Girls' by Tim Firth. A group of ladies, members of a Yorkshire WI, persuade one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference! Based on a true story that is both uplifting and funny.

Two great companies, two great plays! Don't miss this final Fleetwood Theatre Festival!

Finances are forcing us to make this this our last event, and we want everyone to
come and celebrate.
